Engineering & Technology - Bicycle

HCC Bicycle Project

Objectives:

  • select a bicycle based on individual size and needs
  • demonstrate safe bicycle handling and traffic navigation
  • ride safely as part of a group of cyclists
  • plan a bicycle trip/route
  • develop bicycle maintenance and repair skills
  • practice off-road etiquette
  • recognize the connection between cycling and engineering, fitness, textiles, and transportation
