Submission Guidelines – Spokane, Washington
Deadline for Submissions: 5 p.m., February 1, 2010
Poster Submission Guide | Abstract Evaluation Checklist
We would like to encourage you to submit an abstract for presentation at the 4-H Summit in Spokane for a Tuesday afternoon poster session. The session will begin at 4:00 pm and end at 6:00 pm on Tuesday February 23. Any 4-H educator, WSU Faculty member, program assistant, or salaried staff planning to attend the summit may submit a poster abstract. Individuals may present no more than two abstracts as a primary, secondary, or presenting author.
We ask that you adhere to a 250-word limit and that all abstracts be written for 4-H educators, program staff, and other interested staff and faculty. The abstract must demonstrate work that is of scientific, scholarly, or of creative significance to your 4-H peers in Washington.
Projects may have been previously presented (in the last 12 months) at a professional conference. You may also use this as a “field test” for a poster that you will eventually take to the WSU Showcase in March. The featured scientific, scholarly, or creative work must have been completed for or at Washington State University.
Attached is additional information, as well as a copy of the scoring criteria that will be used. This will be a peer-reveiwed event.
